Day 135: Lisa's Pink Chandeliers

Clearly, I've left the most fancy pairs til last. And I misspoke last night - here is my last pair of pink crystals. I've always thought these were made from enamel, but looking more closely today, I see they are dotted with pretty pink crystals too, so they must be counted in that category! These are long and decorative, and such fun to wear. They are a gift from dear Lisa (Day 10), again for my birthday, about a decade ago.

Among her many talents, Lisa is a talented artist. When Rob and I were getting married, she generously offered to make the invitations for us, painting a unique heart for each invitation. I even have a photo of her painting some of the protoypes, when we visited her in Adelaide in 2001.

Fiona will give the paper on our behalf, but I'd like to be there to hear the feedback, and most of all to catch up with everyone. Just another down side of this damn treatment. I had a great early massage this morning to help shift the fluid from my legs. I can home and fell asleep for a couple of hours. I've been more comfortable today so it seems to have helped.

I spent the evening putting the final touches to my latest jigsaw. It was a tough one, but wonderful to work on - thanks Nat! But goddamnit if I didn't get to the end and found I'm missing one piece. It's infuriating! Molly....
