Day 72: Lindsey's Black Cushions

Canberra bound
It was another early and busy morning in our house with Angus off to his first ever school camp - a two day excursion to our grand capital of Canberra.  I had my heart in my mouth saying goodbye, but we were so proud of his attitude: confident, excited and happy to go. I'm counting down the minutes til he's home again.

I tried to do a bit of work but have no powers of concentration. A highlight of the day was having a long chat with Lindsey (Day 20)who is back from her visit with her lovely Mum, brother Richard and Sian in Edinburgh. I knew I'd be speaking with her so this morning chose to wear a wonderful pair of earrings - Mimco black cushion studs - she gave me as a birthday gift about 5 years ago. I remember her telling me at the time that gorgeous Evie Star made the selection.  A quiet night tonight without the Gusman. We hope he's having fun!
