Today was relatively straightforward. A morning walk with Robbie and Molly in Sydney Park was followed by a trip back across town to Radiocity. I must admit to be getting a bit sick of this routine, and find it really disruptive to my day. Having Robbie here as my support really helps both for moral and practical, parking support. He's heading North again tomorrow to sort out the final funeral arrangements before the boys and I fly up on Thursday.
My skin seems to be holding up to the radiotherapy treatment so far but oh boy, the tiredness has hit - I feel like a completely deflated balloon - all out of puff! I rest as much as I can but it doesn't seem to make much difference. How people with little ones manage I don't know.
I was wearing a long necklace with a sweet little owl pendant given to me by the boys about 7 years ago for Mother's Day.
This afternoon Rob and I met Angus teacher for his term three interview - how quickly this year is flying! Then a quick trip to Newtown for an appointment for Angus before coming home to start packing so Rob can take our luggage with him in the car to Armidale.
Tonight was the highlight of the day with a Nosh dinner with Bretty, Vicky, David and Geoffrey. We haven't all been together for ages, and it was just lovely to see everyone and to belatedly celebrate Brett's birthday over a delicious Vietnamese meal. Robbie and Bretty looked like they were about to break in to the nearest car with their matching hoods and beards.
